March Retreat in Tenerife

A gentle retreat for women

Yoga, nature & deep rest

3–8 March 2026
Six days of yoga, nature & deep rest

If you’re feeling tired, overwhelmed, or overstimulated by everyday life —
this is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.

Spend six days in the south of Tenerife, surrounded by nature, light, and open space,
with a gentle Women’s Day celebration woven into the retreat.

You don’t need to do more.
You need space to slow down and be.

You arrive in the quieter south of Tenerife.
Here, open space and ocean views set the rhythm from the start. Palm trees, volcanic land, soft greenery, and wide horizons surround the house.

Days unfold gently — with movement, rest, nourishing food, time by the pool, and moments outdoors. There’s no rush, just space to be present.

This retreat invites you to step out of daily noise and return to a simpler, grounded rhythm that supports deep rest and clarity.

Stepping onto your mat — in the garden, by the pool, or in a calm indoor space — you arrive in the moment, without pressure or expectation.

The noise begins to fade. Your breath slows and deepens. There’s no need to perform or explain. Just space to be yourself.

Through yoga, gentle practices, shared meals, and honest rest, you gradually reconnect with your breath, your body, and your natural rhythm.

Six days to reset, rest deeply, and return to yourself — more present, more balanced, and more at ease.

Here, you begin to reconnect — with yourself, with others, and with the rhythm of nature.

Why Say Yes?

Over the course of six nourishing days, you are invited into a gentle rhythm of yoga, rest and time in nature — without pressure, without performance, without the need to “become” anything.

Through grounded yoga practices, breathwork, quiet reflection and shared meals, you begin to soften your body and calm your nervous system. The days are designed to support steadiness and presence.

Each day flows naturally into the next, creating a feeling of continuity and ease, with room to rest, move, explore the surroundings or simply do nothing at all.

Along the way, you share this experience with a small group of women — meeting each other without masks, comparison or expectations, and allowing genuine connection to form naturally.

By the end of the retreat, you feel more rested, clear and settled in yourself, ready to return to daily life with a calmer body, a quieter mind and a deeper balance.

This is time to nourish yourself, slow down and reconnect with what supports you — gently, honestly and at your own pace.

By the end of this retreat, you’ll feel more rested and grounded — with greater clarity, balance and inner steadiness.

Tenerife, Canary Islands

Tenerife: the “Island of Eternal Spring”

Known for its volcanic landscapes, golden beaches, and year-round sunshine, Tenerife offers a unique blend of nature, culture, and calm. The coastline shifts from wild, rugged shores to wide, sandy beaches — inviting quiet walks, gentle swims, and time by the water.

With its rich biodiversity, starry skies, and the steady presence of the Atlantic, Tenerife feels like a natural sanctuary for the body and mind.

It’s a place for peace, presence, and gentle transformation — supported by open horizons, sea air, and the grounding energy of the island.

Our Venue: a private villa in nature

Set in a quiet, natural area in the south of Tenerife, this villa offers a sense of space, light, and calm. Open views toward the ocean, palm trees, and volcanic land shape a peaceful, private setting that naturally invites you to slow down and feel at ease. Tucked away from the island’s busy resorts, the villa remains close to nature and the coast, with easy access to open landscapes and quiet places to explore. Here, life moves at a gentler pace — with sea air, open horizons, and surrounding greenery creating an ideal environment to rest, breathe, and reconnect.

The retreat takes place in a private villa with a pool and garden, set in a  natural area in the south of Tenerife, with open views toward the ocean and palm trees.
The house is comfortable and well maintained, offering both shared and single rooms and a calm, spacious environment for rest and practice.

The private pool and outdoor areas create space to slow down, relax, and enjoy, a peaceful, authentic setting that supports ease and presence.

A quiet, spacious villa designed for rest and ease.

Over these six days, you’ll slow down, reset, and reconnect — with space for yourself around International Women’s Day.

Picture this:

Arriving at this quiet retreat space, you are welcomed by openness, light, and a sense of calm away from the island’s busier areas. The warm air and stillness invite you to slow down, breathe out, and arrive fully.

Your home for these six days is a simple, spacious villa filled with natural light and relaxed outdoor areas. You might sit by the pool with your journal, rest in the garden with a cup of herbal tea, or take quiet moments throughout the day to pause and reset.

Daily yoga, meditation, and gentle movement invite you back into balance, supported by  pranayama (breathwork) to calm the nervous system and deepen awareness. Practicing outdoors or in a quiet indoor space, the surroundings support each breath and moment of stillness.

Life moves slower here. You ease into a natural rhythm of light mornings, nourishing meals, mindful breathing, rest, connection, and soft presence — returning to yourself, day by day.

Deliciousness awaits! -
Nutritious Food that Delights

At the retreat, meals are prepared by me with care and enjoyment. I cook nourishing vegetarian and vegan food, with thoughtful options for dietary needs, allergies, and food intolerances. My cooking is inspired by Tenerife’s local markets and seasonal produce — fresh vegetables, fruits, wholesome grains, and simple island flavours. I also use dairy from a small local producer. With years of experience working as a chef in yoga centers and on sailing boats, I create food that supports energy, balance, and a sense of ease — comforting, fresh, and grounding.

This March Retreat — A Time to Pause and Reset

This retreat follows a gentle daily rhythm shaped by yoga, rest, simple rituals, nourishing food, and time in nature. Each day unfolds naturally, without pressure or rigid structure — leaving space for movement, stillness, connection, and reflection. The days are subtly inspired by the changing qualities of nature — grounding, flow, energy, lightness, and integration — allowing you to slow down, listen inward, and meet yourself where you are. Nothing to achieve. No system to follow. Just time to arrive, soften, and reset.

This retreat is created especially for women, of all ages and experience levels.
No prior yoga knowledge is needed — just a willingness to slow down, move gently, and take time for yourself.

Taking place around International Women’s Day, it offers space to reset, rest, and reconnect in a calm, supportive environment shaped by nature and simplicity.

Ahhh — tuning into the healing rhythms of Tenerife’s mountains and ocean feels like coming home.

Meet Your Retreat Guide

Maya

Maya — yoga, mindful living & nourishing food.

I’m a yoga teacher, meditation practitioner, and vegetarian & vegan chef, creating retreats that support real rest, clarity, and reconnection.

Yoga is the foundation of my work. I teach Hatha, slow Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra, and Face Yoga, shaped by 550+ hours of Yoga Alliance training and years of teaching classes, workshops, and retreats on Tenerife and across Europe.

Meditation has been part of my daily life for many years and shapes how my retreats unfold — calm, practical, and focused on nervous system balance rather than performance.

Food is an essential part of the experience. I prepare simple, nourishing vegetarian and vegan meals that support both the body and the practice.

I guide retreats independently, working with small groups to allow space for individual attention, honesty, and a slower, more grounded rhythm.
