Our Venue:Mountain Villa
Set high on the southern slopes of Tenerife, this villa offers a magical sense of peace and space. From its terrace, the Atlantic stretches out in front while wild mountains and tall pines rise behind. Tucked away from the island’s busy resorts, it’s still close to unspoiled beaches and some of Tenerife’s most beautiful hiking paths. Here you’re surrounded by fresh mountain air, wide-open skies, and the soothing rhythm of nature.
The House
This old Canarian farmhouse, carefully brought back to life, carries the charm of history in every detail. Inside, wide rooms with their own bathrooms offer comfort and privacy, while the heart of the house is an open kitchen that flows into a shared dining area. The property feels alive with colour and scent — citrus and figs, fresh herbs, and blossoms that turn the garden into a little oasis.
The Outdoor Space
The villa sits on a private finca with no close neighbours, surrounded by silence, fresh air, and spectacular nature. Sunsets are magical, stars fill the night sky, and the swimming pool is perfect for a refreshing dip or relaxing under the southern sun.
Terraces face east, south, and west — whether you rise early, enjoy the warmth of midday, or love watching the golden light fade, there’s always a place to sit, sip tea, and take it all in.

The finca is 100% solar-powered and uses an ecological sewage system.
Mountain spring water nourishes the vegetable garden and fruit trees.
We live waste-free, recycle mindfully, and embrace slow living with deep respect for nature.

The Yoga Shala
Located inside the garden and surrounded by trees and nature, the yoga shala offers spectacular 360-degree views of the ocean, mountains, and
sky through its mostly glass walls. It’s a sacred space for yoga, meditation, workshops, or quiet reflection.
Whether practicing indoors or outside in the garden, the natural beauty supports every breath and movement. The shala is fully equipped with yoga mats, belts, blocks, pillows, blankets, and massage bolsters for your comfort and support.
After this week, you’ll feel how this sacred space deepens your practice and calms your mind.

Nutritious Food that Delights
At our retreat, we specialize in vibrant, healthy vegetarian and vegan cuisine with thoughtful options for all dietary needs, allergies, and food intolerances. Our meals are crafted with love using fresh, local produce from the island’s abundant farmers’ markets — a true celebration of Tenerife’s flavours. Many of the fruits and vegetables come directly from our own organic garden, grown with care and intention. We also support a nearby dairy that produces delicious goat cheeses and yogurts. All meals are prepared by our dedicated yogic chef, who brings deep knowledge of Ayurvedic nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a focus on food as a path to healing, balance, and joy.

This retreat is a holistic experience guided by the five elements of nature—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether—each connected with an energy center (chakra) in the body.
As the days unfold, we move step by step through the body’s energetic map, supported by yoga, breathwork, meditation, food, rest, and direct connection with nature. It’s a gentle progression— from grounding into the body to expanding into imagination, vision, and deep inner peace.

We begin by grounding—arriving in our bodies and connecting to the land.
Gentle yoga, stillness, and nourishing meals create a safe space to slow down, feel supported, and settle into the present moment.
Water — Sacral Chakra
With roots in place, we soften into flow.
Fluid movement, mindful walks, and creativity invite ease, emotion, and sensual joy.
You’ll reconnect with what feels nourishing and alive within— including a trip to one of Tenerife’s most beautiful local beaches, where the ocean invites you to move, play, or simply surrender to the rhythm of the waves.
Fire — Solar Plexus Chakra
Here we ignite confidence and energy.
We’ll journey to the majestic volcanic landscapes of Mount Teide for a powerful walking meditation and energizing fire breath practice — awakening your inner strength in the presence of raw, elemental fire
Air — Heart & Throat Chakras
We move into the heart—opening to connection and expression.
Through breathwork, sharing, and spacious yoga, we invite compassion, clarity, and deeper bonds. Later, a heart movement meditation invites you to soften and listen inward.

Maya
I believe everyone deserves time to slow down, reconnect, and find balance—especially in a world that moves fast. I created this retreat with you in mind—whether you’re seeking clarity, calm, or simply a meaningful pause.
My path with yoga and mindfulness began early, with my first meditation mantra at eight. In 2015, I transitioned from my work in architecture to focus fully on yoga, mindfulness, and personal development—teaching classes and retreats
across Spain and Tenerife.
Since then, I’ve completed over 550 hours of Yoga Alliance training, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Face Yoga, and advanced studies in India. I’ve created grounded, welcoming spaces for people to explore movement, breath, and self-awareness.
Meditation has long been a steady part of my life, and I’ve studied practices like Vipassana. I also hold a Pro-Mentoring Diploma from the School of Relax, which deepened my understanding of self-development and guiding others on their paths.
Meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama was a defining moment in my journey—one that strengthened my commitment to mindful living and service.

How many participants will be there?
This is an intimate retreat, limited to a maximum of 9 people. We keep the group small so that everyone feels seen, supported, and part of a safe, respectful environment.
What are the rooms like?
Rooms are bright, peaceful, and shared (twin/double). A few single rooms are available for an extra fee. We do our best to match roommates by gender. If we can’t find a match, a single supplement may apply.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Most of the people come solo—and usually find new friendships in the process.
What’s the cancellation policy?
- A non-refundable deposit of €300 secures your spot
- The balance is due by August 10, 2025
- Cancel before August 10? You’ll get a full refund of your balance (excluding the deposit)
- Cancel after August 10? We can’t offer refunds, but you may transfer your spot to someone else with our approval
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
Where do I fly into?
The nearest airport is Tenerife South (TFS). We’ll give you detailed directions and recommendations for getting to the retreat house. Airport transfers are not included, but we’ll help you coordinate if needed.
Can you accommodate my dietary needs?
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan meals are standard, and we’re happy to adapt to gluten-free, dairy-free, or other needs—just let us know in advance.
What should I pack?
We’ll send you a full packing list after you register. In general, think: yoga clothes, layers for warm days and cooler evenings, swimwear, sunscreen, walking shoes, something cozy for rest time, and anything that makes you feel at ease.
Is there Wi-Fi onsite? Can my family contact me?
Yes, there’s Wi-Fi in the house. That said, we encourage everyone to unplug as much as possible during the retreat. If you’d like, we can hold your phone safely for you and provide your loved ones with a contact number for urgent situations.
What’s the weather like in Tenerife in September?
Tenerife is warm and pleasant in September, with average highs around 27°C and cooler evenings (18–20°C). Expect sunny days, perfect for beach walks and time outdoors. Layers are ideal for comfort throughout the day
Can I bring a friend or partner?
Of course—if they’re also attending the retreat. But this is a space to focus on your inner world, so we recommend coming alone or with someone who shares that intention.
Can I really leave my busy life for 8 days?
Yes. If you rarely take time for yourself, this might be exactly what you need. Life won’t fall apart without you—but you might feel more steady, calm, and clear when you return. Taking this time can make everything feel more manageable again.
